I just got up to use the restroom. Moments upon returning to my bed, I suddenly felt a shake, rattle then suddenly a strong jolt. Strong enough to wake my husband, who is a heavy sleeper. He woke up instantly & shouted..."Earthquake." Then went back to sleep. I was so shook up that I remained awake til 9am. After the earthquake I couldn't fall asleep. I stayed up & updated my twitter to see what my SoCal buddies thoughts on the sudden quake. So tell me, did you feel the earthquake? If so, what was your initial reaction?
Here is a segment on the Pico Rivera Earthquake, provided by KTLA. Enjoy!

Welcome to my first post, friends ;D
Hello my beautiful bloggerista!
How are you? I'm new to blogging so please bare with me.
This is a recap of my weekend:
Sam was away on a military trip to Camp Roberts. Camp Roberts is a 4 hour drive from LA. He spent the night at the Army base and went home Sunday evening. When he was away, I kept myself occupied by hanging out with my family :D WE watched the Clottey & Pacquiao fight on Saturday evening. IT was a quick fight. I was looking forward to a KO :( Boo. Didn't happen. OH wellz :/ Sunday came quickly. Didn't help that we had to set our clocks forward for Spring. We all lost an hour of sleep. I only slept for 1.5 hours last night. I was tired as hell =( I woke up at 6:30am to attend the 7am mass. Not many church goers attended. Mass was only 30 minutes long. It was short & sweet. After mass, I headed to my parents house. We were all thrilled & excited to go hiking at the Griffith Observatory. I've been there many times with Sam, but this would be my parents and brother's first time to hike there. It was an easy breezy hike. They've enjoyed the beautiful view and the wonderful aroma of mother nature. After our 35 minute hike, we decided to visit Porto's Cafe/Bakery located in Glendale. Glendale is a short distance away from where we were hiking. We were fortunate enough to beat the Sunday crowd. We ordered a dozen of Cheese Rolls, 6 potato balls, 6 macaroons and a bag of Cuban bread. It was delish! A perfect end to a invigorating hike ;D
